Hyfryd yn wir. Ac mae Meic yn dal i berfformio - fe chwaraeodd wythnos neu ddau yn ol in siop Spillers Records (druan a nhw, mae rhaid iddi nhw symud diwedd y mis, on wn i ddim i ble!). Mae'r hen lais yn gras ofnadwy dydiau 'ma ond, wedi'r cyfan, fe yw'r "Dylan Cymraeg"! Cafodd e'i fab ei arestio yn ddiweddar am feddiannu cyffuriau. Fel y tad, fel y mab!
Or if you prefer...
Lovely indeed. And Meic still performs - he played a week or two ago at Spillers Records (poor things are having to move end of the month, but I don't have a clue where to!)The old voice is very rough these days but, after all, he is the "Welsh Dylan"! His son was arrested recently for possessing drugs. Like father, like son!
Just sunk in that Spillers is going to close / move. ah, the days when Cardiff supported a plethora of record shops - Spillers, Sounds and Buffalo being the three essential ports of call of a Saturday afternoon.
Now this is when you need some money-bags vinyl anorak philanthropist to step in and save the day. Not going to happen.
Just noticed your comment under GOG in the blog you mention which is where I found it. It seems great quality to me, besides it's not exaclty an easy record to find, is it? Also the guy posting is Italian, same as me! I'm glad I found his and your blog and both kind of by accident, can't remember what I was looking for...
